Knowledge Centres

The ICPAS Online Knowledge Centres aim to equip its members and the public with timely resources related to business and accountancy matters.

The four Online Knowledge Centres -ICPAS Centre For Financial Reporting, ICPAS Country Desk, ICPAS Ethics Centre and ICPAS Research - offer information and updates on topics that are most relevant in today's business world in an accessible, timely, user-friendly manner. Subsequently, two new microsites - Centre for Auditing and Assuarance and Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals - were added.

ICPAS Centre For Financial Reporting (CTF)

ICPAS Centre For Financial Reporting (www.icpascfr.org.sg) aims to be a comprehensive one-stop-shop for information on financial reporting, including information on FRS, IFRS, legal updates, frequently asked questions on financial reporting and related articles.

Key features include:

 

  • Under Standards, users will have easy access to the most up-to-date version of Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs), International Financial Reporting Standards (INT FRSs) and Recommended Accounting Practices (RAPs).

  • Publications on current topics of interest.

  • News on financial reporting in Singapore and internationally, with particular focus on developments at the International Accounting Standards Board.

ICPAS Ethics Centre (www.icpasethics.org.sg ) discusses current ethical issues within the accountancy profession. Users will find details on the Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics, frequently asked questions, case studies, local fraud cases and news on ethics.

The ICPAS Centre for Auditing and Assurance (http://www.icpascaa.org.sg/) seeks to provide a platform for the Institute to demonstrate thought leadership, education and professional development in the areas of audit and assurance. It is also one of the platforms for the ICPAS Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee (AASC) to reach out to its stakeholders.

 The Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals

 

SIATP

 

 

The Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals (http://www.siatp.org.sg/) is an accreditation body incorporated by ICPAS and Tax Academy of Singapore for local tax professionals. The Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals (SIATP) purposes to promote in the public interest the standards of tax practice and the technical competence and capability of tax professionals.

 

The benefits and privileges associated with being an Accredited Tax Advisor, Accredited Tax Practitioner or Accredited Tax Practitioner (Provisional) of SIATP include:
